Owners of Bobbi’s bronze sculptures receive daily inspiration, motivation, and strength from seeing them in special places in their homes. Customers often request a handwritten inscription on the bronze base, adding a unique message to the sculpture.

Bobbi is still actively sculpting, painting, running, and making marathon-related appearances, and she loves to communicate with her customers, friends, and fans all over the world.

Custom trophies Bobbi has sculpted include the three Olympia statuettes Joan Benoit Samuelson, Julie Brown, and Julie Isphording won at the first U.S. Women’s Olympic Marathon Trials in 1984; Tracksmith’s Hare Trophies, sculpted by Bobbi in 2023 for their annual First to the Trackhouse competition; and EternalHealth’s David Ortiz trophy, sculpted by Bobbi in 2023 for their Community Champions Award.

Commissioned Bronze Sculptures by Bobbi

Typically $9,500 to $20,000 total, depending on details, for either

• A single bronze statuette 8 to 18 inches tall, or

• The first 6 bronze miniatures 5 to 7 inches tall (and $750-1,000 per miniature thereafter for orders of at least 6 miniatures).

Bobbi creates the sculpture from scratch according to your specifications. Choose this option if you’re looking for one-of-a-kind fine art for your home, yard, public space, or organization, or custom trophies for extraordinary achievements.

She initially sculpts these pieces in clay, and every detail of her work is captured in the final solid bronze through a series of steps in the lost-wax technique.

Bobbi’s commissioned bronze sculptures reflect the inspirational and motivational message of her breakthrough 1966 Boston Marathon, and the feeling of aliveness, beauty, spirit, and motion she captures in human figures, animals, and abstract works inspired by nature.

Figurines

Figurines are elegant 12” tabletop sculptures that can be cast from the current collection shown below or custom designed. Shown below is the current collection of Athletes and Artists in motion that can be ordered. Bobbi created custom “prizes” for the 1984 inaugural women’s Olympic Trials.  She crafted one-of-a-kind female runners for each of the top three winners.  Joan Benoit-Samuelson keeps only this piece out among her many trophies – as it is a work of art, not just a prize. 

Busts

Most busts are created based on commissions. The price of each commission piece is unique. Please contact Bobbi to discuss the commission piece that you would like her to create. A representative sample of famous persons is shown in the gallery along with a commissioned piece, “Frank.”

Paintings

Any work seen in the gallery can be treated by the artist to be transformed into a one-of-a-kind version, which is overpainted with unique and original acrylics. Pricing is based on choosing either an exact replica of the original or an overpainted, mix-media version that is totally unique.

When someone orders a sculpture, we cast an individual sculpture especially for that person, which includes any changes they might like to make to it. Generally, we receive one payment at the beginning of the process, one payment in the middle, and one payment at the end.

The original canvases are priced between $50,000 and $100,000 and are not for sale.
